One of the most difficyult part of the long term quit is keeping our thinking on track. By that I mean not allowing those cravings and memories of smoking occupy our thinking on a regular basis. Sometimes we actually have to force our thoughts to the positives we're experiencing since we've quit. More money in our pockets, freedom from the need to go find a place to smoke every 1/2 hour or so, better health, more energy, more time to enjoy other things in life. Paying special attention to where your thinking is headed and redirecting that to positive thoughts can make a huge difference in achieving your goal of not only quitting but doing it while being happier about it

We're each in charge of controlling our own thoughts and reeling those bad thoughts in when necessary. No one other that you can do that for yourself and I'm sure you know that. It does help to come here and talk about our struggles though because there's so many others who have been through the same difficult times and they're always available to help ourselves get our thinking back on track. You know what you have to do to keep on track and what you might do to derail it all. Stay the course @Pilgrim. You'll be better off in the long run and happier too!
