Congrats on 23 days! Yes it will take time to "reprogram" 28 years of smoking habits and replace that wasted time with better things. I love not having to plan activities around smoking. When can I have one? Where can I have one? In fact, as benefits accrued to me (and I actively acknowledged them) I wrote them down so I could remind myself of what I was gaining when I was craving especially in the early days. It's doable. Best decision we could make. Keep going.

Congrats of quitting @Quinzee! You've almost got your first month smoke free underyour belt and that\'s something to celebrate! Live your life as normaly as possible and keep as busy and active as you can at all times. That will lessen the cravings. Idle time on your hands just sitting there thinking allows your mind to fbe occupied with thoughts of smoking - romancing the cigarette and that's NOT what you want. Learning to live without everything being punctuated by having a smoke takes time & effort on your part but the longer you go without putting that smoke in your mouth, the more natural it will become and before you know it, smoking will just not be part of your daily life and you'll wonder why you ever smoked in the first place!
