NOPE....it works.  Five plus years following that one word. Can't fail if you never inhale!

Sfhit stinks too. Stunts growth of the main muscle and makes breath like crap.

Window licking is smarter than smoking

Bakon is right --- NOPE --- it does work.  Take some deep breaths, a glass of cold water and remember why you are quitting.  It is doable, I am only 1 month in on my quit and I smoked for over 40 years over a pack a day.  You can get through this.

We are definitely here and all of us keeping our quits, short and long, and standing by for each other and anyone else who gets on this QuitTrain. Replies my be a little slower coming just now since the Super Bowl is being played.  You may not follow American football but many do.  Hope the worst of it has passed!  Jump around or whatever you need to do just don't smoke. That's the main thing.

OK so I'm really late to this conversation but am interested to know if we backed away from the ledge or jumped? Hopefully the former? Please check back in and let us know.

We have a lot of information and support around this place that will help you along if you are serious about quitting. That would all apply to both of you by the way.

gosh darn it! I KNEW me and my room mate were forgetting something. when I tell her we missed the super bowl, she is going to be SOOO upset.

And I was there yesterday thinking my disappointment was because i could not find any cool skirts at thrift.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
