April 25, 201412 yr Are we all ready for Friday? Jump in the shower, get soapy, get fresh and mark another week Done! I'm feeling annoyingly perky this morning! Lol Woooooooooooo!
April 25, 201412 yr It's still Thursday here on the west coast USA, so I'll just say good "pre" morning to all of you non smokers out there ahead of me. Bless this day.
April 25, 201412 yr Wow, I'm not of the perky camp yet ;) Really pleased you're feeling good though, got your energy boost coming through now I wonder?

April 25, 201412 yr Good morning Sarah! Loving the perky attitude, lol. I'm in Ontario, Canada. It's currently 2:43 a.m. here. Still no sleep. I'm up doing a bunch of laundry. Siiiiigh.

I'm a happy bunny ;) Way to go Sarah you are doing amaze balls xxxx
April 25, 201412 yr Author Only an hour left of the day. Then home. And not go out because I'm scared of triggers :(
April 25, 201412 yr Its not even noon here in Ontario Canada....and the sun is shining :) I walked to the coffee shop and bought a fancy caramel latte......and now Im just waiting for my boomerang child and the baby to leave. :) They are going out for the entire day.....so I am going to empty my livingroom of ALL the baby stuff and pretend its still an adult only space. Then I am going to lay on the couch with my new book. :) Thats a good friday.
April 25, 201412 yr isn't 'Good Friday' when some religious folk celebrate a beardy chap getting nailed to a cross? Weird definition of 'good', unless they didn't like his haircut or something, I think yours is much better! ;) I digress... Being scared of triggers is fine for a while but at some point you need to face them, personally, I would go out and just have an escape route planned. You seem like a pretty tough cookie so make sure you've got some CSI or something recorded at home and go out and have some fun... don't get too drunk. If you feel the urge to have a smoke GO HOME and watch CSI. Make sure you tell your friends as you arrive of your plan, explain you may just have to leave, and that none of them should offer you a smoke and not to try to convince you to stay when you say you have to leave. For me, it was all about being in control, so be in control, you will almost certainly want to smoke if you go out, but you can stop yourself simply by leaving the situation behind.
April 25, 201412 yr Sarah Rob is right. You have stopped smoking - not living. By all means be careful - but enjoy your better skin, more energy and non stinkiness! :P
