January 11, 20188 yr Unfortunately there will be more asshat teachers as you get into the program.... I had my share. Luckily not too many though in tech school, but my bsn, which I finish in may finally, I have ran into a couple of unhelpful instructors in my online nursing classes. Although i am pretty annoyed at the whole thing to be honest. I have been a nurse now for 10 years...went back for my bsn 4 years ago and all I have learned in all honesty is how to write papers and bullshit my way on a discussion board. The nursing classes seemed to rehash what I had learned in tech school and a few were honestly useless to me for my current position and don't get me started on the general requirements those are as useful to me as a nurse as well I don't know what. A bsn is supposed to create a well -rounded nurse but IDK about that. Sorry about inserting my rant into yours i totally feel you. You will survive and get through....nursing is a good career and worth it. Hang in there Lisa
