Let's push Hurricane Matthew out to sea

Featured Replies

Poor Haiti is getting seriously slammed and projected path has shifted somewhat West.

Thinking about all who may be affected.

East go East and be quick about it.

Didn't bakon mention he was taking a cruise this week ?

edited to add.  yep back in sticks/chicks on 9/24 he said in two weeks.

We aren't pushing hard enough

Starting my drive into it tomorrow. South Carolina tomorrow. Jacksonville Thursday. Kids are on Merritt Island (cape canaveral area) which has a Wednesday 3pm mandatory evacuation planned. So don't know if my hotel 10 miles away for Friday is still in plan.

Saturday we get on oasis of seas headed out of Ft Lauderdale to go to Haiti on Monday and Jamaica Tuesday. (Wife's birthday present and just books a few weeks ago)

I got my speedo in the carry on so I think we will be ok.

Driving because I need to drop off kid stuff (grown men) as I am tired of being the storage unit. Also airline tickets were 700 plus due to short notice. Plus I like driving.

Storm is killing plans on family dinner in Jax on Thursday. Hope it passes quickly and don't mess up Friday. Or close the road!

Gee bakon, the spaghetti plots for Matthew have it turning back around to the south.  It has been a hard one to plot.  Good Luck, Stay Safe Everybody.

where's your sister, Marti ?

Prayers and good luck to all of you and your family and friends, luckily we changed our week away and going next week

Stay safe xxx

I know Beacon and DD are in the path of this storm....and I am sure many others that we know....I urge them to stay safe... It looks like this IS going to be ugly! It has already cause havoc (and death) all along its path. My thoughts are with everyone on the S.E coast.

Unfortunately, bad action seems imminent for the people of Florida.  Particularly those along the "space coast."  Matthew is looking like it may cause more damage than Andrew did in 1992.

It seems futile but, best wishes and godspeed to all those in the path of this storm.
