Great video.  There's a lot of talk about the long-term benefits of quitting, but the positive effects of quitting begin immediately.  From there, the benefits increase exponentially.

It's amazing how quickly the body rebuilds.

 

I think it's been about 3 years and 3 months for me now. I can't even imagine being that ashamed little addict anymore.

And for 20 years I couldn't imagine being anything other than a smoker. I thought I loved it. Being a smoker was just embarrassing.

Truly the urge goes away 100%.

It can and must be done.
