Understood! Ready to post & receive some awesome support from this forum

Welcome Taylor and congratulations on deciding to quit. Why don't you start your own thread to introduce yourself? We have a great group of quitters here and I see you've been having a look around. Have you decided on a quit date? Because you know your quit starts as soon as you put out that last cigarette so how's now sound since you're already here and all?...................

Hi @Jean Miller, that's awesome! You're already past Hell week! :)  If you get a chance, why don't you introduce yourself in our Introduction Forum. I'm glad you're reading up on our pinned threads. Those are great to start with and will help you immensely :)

@Jean Miller, we know but just hang in there because it won't always be but unfortunately the only way past is through. We all did or are doing it so lean on us. The forum was a huge part of my quit. It was very comforting to see so many who have quit or are in the process and knew what I was going through at any particular time in my quit.

I'd like to also encourage you to get a ticker for your signature. It'll show you the time, money saved and cigarettes NOT smoked since you quit. It's very inspirational and a valuable tool to show you just what you're giving up if you cave to a crave.

Hi, Jean. Welcome aboard! And congratulations on making the choice to quit. “Really hard” indeed - but it gets easier and the freedom is ultimately worth the fight. This forum can make a big difference in building a quit that sticks. Here you can find  good info, moral support and fun distractions. When you feel up to it, tell us a little more about your desire to quit and what is or isn’t working for you so far. Keep up the good work!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
