Losing a loved one

Featured Replies

My sister died of a heart attack on Jan. 15, she was only 58 but I think her love of those damn MF smokes did her in. I told her  the drs will ride your ass when you have health issues to get you to quit & after what I went thru you'd think it would sink in. I sooooooooooooooooooooooo miss talking to her. :dash2:  :dash2:  :dash2:  :dash2:

I am sorry for your loss.  Loss of a sibling is incredibly difficult (I know).

Your post is an effective reminder of why we avoid this terrible hook.

This year has not been kind so far. I'm sorry for your loss Beth. Your post shows how horrible this effing addiction is. Your sister saw you going through all of the health complications that you went through and still couldn't break the chains from nicotine. May she rest in peace and may your post show people who are struggling how important it is to quit.

I'm sorry for your loss, this addiction is an awful thing to have started and so hard to break (((hugs))) x

Beth, so very, very, sorry for your loss.  Your heart must be broken.  It is such a powerful addiction.  Praying for peace and comfort for you.

So sorry for your loss Beth, 58 is far too young, many years robbed by nicotine!

Sending you hugs and a shoulder should you need one xxx

Hi Beth, it's me KarenLou, we were on a different site together quite some time ago. Very sorry to read of the loss of your sister. I have 8 siblings and I don't know what it feels like to go through losing any of them. Two of my brothers have copd now from smoking. My heart goes out to you, it sincerely does. (((((((Beth)))))))

I'm so sorry Beth.  These are hard days, visiting the memories helps.

So did your sister ready your room?

More prayers for you Beth, may you continue to be helpful in your honest way. May you enjoy the rest and comfort and a smoke free existence forever....

May your trip be smooth and peaceful and

say hi to my pap and dogs....
