Yay!  It's Friday!

Friday night = Date night!  :)

My aunt is coming to visit my mum for a few days so I have taken advantage and booked myself into a nice hotel, coast very near by and green hills, lots of walking planned, beach combing, shop mooching and in the evening taking advantage of the spa, pool and wine, absolute bliss!

Sounds so nice!  I love my family, but would also love a weekend all to myself.  Girls weekends are great too, but what a treat it would be to only have to do whatever I want to do - just for a few days.

Heidi is doing well. Older dog likes her most of the time and that was reason to get her. Keep her company. Don't have anything to complain about past watching she doesn't get into anything. Sleeps well but got some rooster in her. Likes to get up early even if I let her out at 4am. Working on getting her socialized. But no problem

Snow day today!!!!!  Had to work from home a bit, but mostly done now, so trying to just stay in PJ's, watch TV and social media.

Today wasn't as bad as I thought it would be so that's a good day

I love this time of the year. Going to nyc in two weeks to see the Christmas lights

Awww my mum is a bit of a recluse unless someone goes out with her as her mobility is rubbish and she needs to sit down so I've brought her a walker with a seat and we are doing laps in indoors to build her muscles up bless her, she is well chuffed and I have happy tears, I'm hoping this is the start of some independence for her and improving her depression

 

Happy day :), even though the drivers side window fell out of the car this morning lol

This is great news...I'm sure it will be a massive step... To being much more independent...

No - missed nothing. Now I have two first drafts to edit (rewrite LOL)

Eye test today said yes I need glasses, good news is just reading glasses, now doing research on a pair that makes me look more intelligent but not in a mad scientist sort of way, I'm thinking

Buy a pair that make you smile...at least then if you hate wearing them, you still have a little smile when you see them.

 

I went with pink and a little bling on the side :)  They are crazy but I only wear mine to drive, you will wear them to read....not all the time. My advice. 

I'm pretty happy.
