I am so happy to be going on a long vacation without several cartons of cigs stuffed in my luggage and the anxiety building that I would not be able to smoke for 14 hours.

 

All of the inside of the Celebrity ship are nonsmoking, including the casino.

 

So, unlike in the past, I will not have to find the few smoking areas on certain decks of the ship. Also, I will not need to smoke on the excusions to the pristine wilderness and ground my butts into ground furtively. I won't have to worry that I did not put my cig out and the ship will burn down. I will not almost fall over the side while smoking on a very windy deck after a long night of festivities. :0

 

Last year at this time I was also on vacation with a few months quit. I had a good time but I was still very cranky and craving some. This year no craves, no desires but I am wondering how it will be to gamble without smoking, to sit on the deck and watch the scenery without smoking, to drink cocktails in the icebar without smoking. What a difference a year makes as far feeling so much better!

Have a fabulous time...it will be so much better!!  You can do anything without smoking...and have much more fun!  It might cross your mind...but you know that smoking is yukky!!

I'm sure it will be a great release not to have to 'slip away' for a smoke.

I worked on Celebrity cruise Mercury (I hear them and galaxy are no longer part of celebrity as they were bought by a Germany company) but I would give anything to go back on it or any celebrity ship as a passenger for a change, please take lots of pics so I can remensce (sp?) and get all emotional and choked with happy memories,
