  1. I'm 4 months analogue free and haven't had a single one. I get a lot of interest from smokers about my e-cig setup and obviously they're interested in giving up. But when you've been an exsmoker for so long, I think it's easy to forget what it felt like to be a smoker - that desperation to quit, but that hideous addiction that kept you coming back. That constant cycle of failure. I think it's easy to be scared to give up smoking and switching to vaping, scared that you might fail and relapse.
  2. I recently read quite your threads you post here. I'm so happy for you to see the big step you made!

  4. If it is that so, I think it's not only quit thing, your body is already in sub-healthy condition. Go and see a doctor, Wendy!
  5. Terrific! It would be a fancy for my completely clean day! I now and then think is there a day that I really quit successfully. Cograts again!
  6. I sometime imagine that I go to South Africa. No electricity, no wifi, living in a hut, original life it is. Dwelling in such condition, I think I can quit all my bad habits.

  8. keep holdig on! You will make it!

  10. How possible will it be! If quitting is that simply, I will assume you are not addicted! For some guys, smoking is just a cool thing!
  11. The reason being in here for me is simply, exchange the idea about how to quit, and find more people are suffering the hard time when we quit, this fact tells me I am not alone!
  12. I was shocked that when talking the quit smoking topic, there always got a new method.. gerenallt divide to two way: physicially and mentally. I think reading a book is mentally and absolutely the urtimate method. Currently I am on physical method, namely e-cig.
  13. I simply grab a alternative..aka e-cig
  14. Are you gonna make here as your personal quitting log?
  15. Anyway, it is good to hear your quitting decision.
  16. Hello all, I'm Jacob and I started quitting a few month ago. I'm currently unemployed, but I also make music, co-host a podcast about horror films, edit videos and anything else that interests me. Had been smoking for about 21 years, regular cigs at first and then Golden Virginia for the last decade. Tried an e-cig ages ago and hated it. Crap battery life, crap hit, crap taste. Last week I went to a local shop and got an EVOD Twist, hoping it would be good enough to start at 50/50 rollups/e-cig and work up to being off the tobacco. I had a rollup at 4pm, just before I arrived at the shop, and that was the last time I had one. Really liking the flavor varieties and the Y4. Stay tobacco free for good, probably using lower mgs of nicotine eventually. Going to give that liquid stuff a go too. Definitely one of the best decisions I've made in a while, already noticing a difference in my teeth and hoping fitness benefits will follow.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
