24 years today!  Quitting smoking transformed and literally saved my life, and it's something I remain incredibly proud of and grateful for.  And I'm thinking of the family (my mother at age 70 and my brother at 42) and friends who've died from smoking.  About 100 million people died from smoking in the 20th Century, and I'm pretty convinced that a century from now, people will see corporate tobacco and our complicity with it as one of the great moral shames of the era.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
