December 11, 2025Dec 11 24 years today! Quitting smoking transformed and literally saved my life, and it's something I remain incredibly proud of and grateful for. And I'm thinking of the family (my mother at age 70 and my brother at 42) and friends who've died from smoking. About 100 million people died from smoking in the 20th Century, and I'm pretty convinced that a century from now, people will see corporate tobacco and our complicity with it as one of the great moral shames of the era.
