The fine folks here, you all, are providing something that they as of late, have been failing at.  I've always been outspoken that a support group should be ran by people who have walked in others' shoes.  That is not the case there. 

 

Don't let it get under your skin because you guys are creating an environment that far exceeds what I was expecting.  It's awesome.  :)

I PM'd Harper back.  I have nothing against them, a difference in philosophy perhaps, but nothing personal.  This is why there isn't a single bad thing said about QSMB on the boards.  Neither myself or the mods would ever do this or allow it.

 

Everything has a season and we reap what we sow and our crop is producing very, very well.  :)

Yep...fresh start here....no history

 

I think most of the people came here because they started really getting fed up and were about to leave that site...many of those who were leaving were putting their quit in jeopardy by leaving the support....that's really why you recruited them.  

 

By now everyone knows about it...and those that want to come here will find a way

I cant say I blame them... But I dont really like the changes there at this time...

There is one member on the board "over there" that I can't reach..I don't know if I sent her the link, I can't remember. The member is Dors67, somehow she adopted me and I adopted her....she is a special Newbie and I don't want her to feel like she lost my support. Even though I am a Newbie myself, we got close and I was the more experienced Newbie if that makes sense?

 

Would somebody please tell her that she can ALWAYS email me (I am 80% certain I gave her my email address). She is so vulnerable and so special..would somebody please do that for me?

I got tired of picken their cotton. They got high hopes of making it big on our hard work, on our sweat and trauma of each individual quit. Ultimately the narrow band of acceptable behavior weeded out all but those who would toe the lines. Self reinforcing feedback systems constrain any machine further the longer they run, and ultimately lead to collapse.

 

I got the boot over there for a week and am thrilled that this place opened up. Well, maybe hopeful at least. This "private" subforum is good for keeping oddball chatter off the rest of the board that should stay devoted to the quit. I'm calling it the Thunderdome in hopes that personal grievances can be aired here between members one on one for RESOLUTION, keeping the spectators in the stands. Now and then a tag team is sorta entertaining, too.

 

If this subforum can't handle heavy conflict maybe a true T-Dome subforum could be made. Bottom line is I like the new digs.

I just chimed in on that thread. 

 

I'm pretty laid back (so laid back I'm supine most of the time - kind of like a Sloth)

 

- but the bit that I have left in the quote above is not in rules or guidelines. But Harper has included it in the PM as if it is.

 

Now quite apart from the fact that is nonsense anyway - that is sneaky and not fair. 

 

I have absolutely no axe to grind - I am grateful to QSMB - as it enabled me to meet you all.

 

I understand the difficulties for the mods trying to cope with the outbreaks that occurred - but this looks very much like the mods are trying to bully a member.

 

Now - I'm no drama queen - but really?
