Oh Boo I know you are clever... please make this for BB... boy or girl this is totally awesome... the only thing missing is bubble wrap but use it once and its pointless....maybe a slot for a tissue box so every single one can be pulled out and left in a pile.... this is seriously good for fine motor skills and cognitive development and they will spend ages playing with it...

Just did a quick internet search and found out those are commonly referred to as "busy boards."

I'm definitely building one of those for Baby Boo.  In fact, I may enjoy building it as much as the kid enjoys playing with it.

I've made a few 'soft' versions of these

that include buttons/button holes, zippers, shoe lacing, ribbon tying, velcro fastening, snaps, drawstrings,  etc.

I put them in an handmade canvas 'book'. Each page was a different activity.

Could be worse.

One of my cousins down in Georgia has two sons.  The boys grandfather (my uncle) was getting them ready for a camping trip.  My uncle gives a flint and steel kit to boys aged nine and six, teaches them how to use it, and then sends them home.

Couple of days later, the older boy comes running in the house asking for a "big bottle of water."  His mom asks why he needs water and the boy responds: "there could be a fire."  Could be...

Fortunately, they were able to put out the fire with a garden hose and a shovel.  A call to the fire department wasn't necessary.

^ we used to get bathed in the kitchen sink...I may or may not have done do with the kid too.

That's not a kitchen sink Jo, it's a toilet 😂😂

MUCH easier on the back to bathe them in the kitchen sink !

Bathing in the kitchen sink seems like one of the major perks of being a baby.

Just trust me.

Always be the first to lift them up to reach there goals...

Little one stood at the base of the goal looking up, way up and the let rip "hey Dad".....

*Had a picture of a dad lifting a toddler well over his head by his ankles so he could get a basketball into the ring like a pro*
