But not for long ....it's getting close .... The wait is even less now. The doctor had to reschedule so she changed the appointment to Tuesday instead of Thursday. The sonogram should reveal whether Baby Boo is bouncing baby boy or a beautiful baby girl. The countdown clock is sitting on 112 hours, give or take a minute.

Nervous anticipation is hard to hide though. Had a conversation with a fella I know through my work. He's a welder, a damn good welder at that, used to do underwater work on the oil rigs down in the Gulf of Mexico. He looks rough and tough but he has a soft spot. I explained my situation and he told me: "I have a son now, two years-old." He paused and continued: "Everything I do now is to make sure the boy is happy and has a good life...he matters more than anything." No tears were shed, but for a brief moment we were on the verge of having a good cry and sharing our feelings with each other.
