March 3, 20197 yr We had a little bit of snow here yesterday....2-3 inches. I never even went outside...just watched from inside while on my comfy sofa! Later today we are expected to get 4- 6 inches of heavy, wet snow. Hmmm, I need to get out to the store as I was busy all week and my fridge is quite empty... Note: My essentials are diet soda, dark chocolate, low sodium chips and dog food for my pups! Poison sticks used to be top of that list of essentials.....but no more!!

The snow from yesterday is mostly melted here today but later more snow they say . We got lucky in feb but never seem to get away with it. At least its not a foot or more.

I think we need to shoot that darn ground hog. He said we were going to have an early spring! This month is always torture to me. I dislike the cold so much. Those faithful daffodils and crocuses still pop up through the snow though.

Yes, Whispers, I still have most of my driveway covered in snow from yesterday (I can no longer shovel snow as per my cardiologist!)....and I have my pool cover water draining onto it -off to one side - it's 45 degrees here today!!! Sometime between now and 7 pm the winter storm is supposed to start! Off to gas up my CRV!
March 3, 20197 yr I feel you on a deep level about the weather it finally is not snowing here.....but now it is cold and sunny but cold did I mention it is cold -3F to be exact. Just for reference here is my over abundance of snow. For reference the fence is about 6 feet tall lol Lisa

March 3, 20197 yr NYC school is closed.. They got soft, when i was a kid it took BLIZZARD i have nothing outside right now but its snowing but not sticking yet
March 4, 20197 yr Oh dear, you poor Northerners. We are getting some polar tomorrow and Tuesday (low 50's) which will quell some Carnival nakedness (but, not much). Please be careful.

March 4, 20197 yr Its sticking now and snowing pretty good ... On a good not, i will be working remotely tomorrow (from home) and possibly Tuesday so i wont have to deal with the mess
March 4, 20197 yr Author Yah, temp dropped quickly and now lot's of heavy snow coming down....last report I saw said we now may get 8-10 inches by me.....I am retired now, so don't have to worry about getting to work in the a.m. either, @Whispers! Don't have to leave my house until Wed afternoon the earliest....lucky me!
