I'm going for a cup of tea....   Does that count?

  • ran outside 6 miles and walked 1 mile it was nice

  • I am in awe of all of you...but I am proud that after at least 15 years of total slugdom...after 3 1/2 weeks I am walking 1.6 miles in 30 minutes on my treadmill!!

I have done NOTHING all week.  Today I went to the movies with my boys and ate popcorn, drank slushies and had McDonalds for lunch.  On a side note I have not eaten MCD's in months and it is horrible, lol!  I need to get back on it but Im going to wait till our spring break is over.  Hope this week doesn't undo all that I have done.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to see a pulmonologist for the first time.  He increased my combination inhaler from 100 mcg to 200 mcg.  What  a difference!  Gone is the burning in my throat and chest when I do cardio.  Breathing is much much better.  Today I did a circuit of upper body weight machines and then 20 minutes on the treadmill walking at 4 mph and medium incline.

just ran 6.25 miles :) feels great slowly trying to increase my distance each week or so (very slowly lol) thinking about breaking out my bike tomorrow and going for a bike ride for the first time this season

Chipped through Missouri rock setting two fenceposts sets today. That's eleven feet worth of digging. Don't much feel like going for a jog...

Season opener at the local crag (Red River Gorge) last weekend.(Did y'all miss The Sarge?)

Saturday at The Great Wall   (Muir Valley)   and Sunday out at Pistol Ridge  [1]in the Lower Gorge.  Got some good moderate-to-easy Trad Lines in as well as many a bolted Sport Route at her limit for the Mrs. (she gets kinda sketched out with traditional climbing and likes to stick to the "safer" climbing [2])

Easy Glorious Rock Peasy!

FOOTNOTES:

[1] The hike up to Pistol Ridge was ridiculous with gear. Somebody fire that trail designer. Not even 2 miles of trail but felt like a 12-miler due to altitude gain too fast. Have they never heard of switchbacks at Pistol Ridge?

[2] The Sarge doesn't want to tell her that there is no climbing that is "safer"[3']. If she finds out, she'll quit going. Shhhh - don't tell her.

[3] Climbing is inherently dangerous!

spin class with the instructor that leads an aerobics class on bikes lol  Resistance never goes above a 7.  It is a good workout though and burns close to 1000 calories.

25 minute circuit workout, then 20 minutes on the treadmill walking 4 mph, middle incline.

Is it bad that I am on the recumbant bike and on the site at the same time :) I dont think so just being efficient lol

Omg I have not worked out all week. I hurt my back . Tomorrow I am going to walk/jog and work back into it

5:45 am spin class.  Tuesday I ditched my plan of no more leg extensions.  Legs a bit sore today even after my day off yesterday, but it's all good.

multi tasking is what it is  ;)

Just walked about 3.5 miles today in the morning.  Back still hurting but I think the walking and light exercise will be helpful

hour of weights and machines, then a 45 minute spin class.. the rest of the time was working my jaw talking to everyone... lol
