Let's start with an explanation for those not subject to her Majesty's rule...

The Commonwealth Games (Comm Game) are like the Olympics but just for Commonwealth countries...you Americans can't play because you had a war and kicked the POM's out.. But the Sth Africans can...we're not sure why.. In the olden days it was called the Empire Games but WWII or George Lucas made us change that name. Its held every 4 years and this year its in Brisbane, QLD... Or Brisvegas. Some of the sports are different cos well we know how awesome they are but noone else had caught on. Oh and Great Brittain does not compete, the 4 countries that make up Great Brittain compete as themselves so there are no union jacks.. For some interesting history, the last time the comm games were in Brissy (aka Brisvegas) the USA sent a team because they had boycotted the 1980 Moscow Olympics but that was one off, cold war special offer... Ya won frickin everything so we didn't ask ya back.

Now we've caught the Sepos up... Let's have at it... Sledge or brag to ts hearts content.

Oh.. If the yanks don't wanna ve left out you could pick an honorary country to root for (like my awesome use of american.. I love my country but still not gunna root for it)... Australia would be a supper awesome option cos, well ... Straya!... England & Scotland do well on the track... India does well in hockey and shooting and weight lifting... The Africans do well in track and distance events.

@jillar ..... India might be in trouble... A cleaner found a stash of needles at the games village and "all officials of a competing country" have been called into a special meeting. The used needles are being DNA tested and tested for the substances... In a bizarre co-inky-dink an Indian team official found used syringes in a water bottle outside there rooms... Are the 2 incidents connected.

Now considering that the games haven't started yet you can switch teams if you want, just in case, there us Canada or New Zealand with their haka boys.

Well speaking of sabotage is there any truth to the rumers that the English have sent over an elite squad of hobblers to take out the Aussies.. In an unprovoked attach the captain of our Rugby 7s team was taken out by an unprovoked cowards punch outside a kebab shop in coogee on Good Friday. Now for everyone not Australian a cowards punch is a king hit, or whatever you call it when some punches someonelse unsuspectedly from behind. Anyway this pom has punch our rugby 7 captain from behind, fractured his skull an now he's outa the games. I'm not sure why he was st a kebab place on good Friday. https://www.9news.com.au/national/2018/04/02/16/50/james-stannard-one-punch-attack-lucky-to-be-alive
