Spring was here before

Now it's gone I'm chilled all through

Tired of winter's cold

Nice weather today

Tomorrow will bring more snow

It will simply melt

It's a sunny day

There is still snow on the ground

It's teasing the sun

Ducks molting, revolting.

Cassoulet, gumbo on hold.

Hurry up quack quack.

Thursday, family

Dread the visit a little

But it ends up good

Oh, insistent muse.)

 

Morning with Corvus,

Rooks, Jackdaws, Ravens or Crows,

I think they're my friends.

 

Out my own back door, 

I put Crow whistle to lips,

blew, 'Crow! Hey you, Crow'

 

Papa Crow up there,

listened to my Crow whistle,

'wtf', he thought..

 

 

April rain showers

Something we don't always get

We're thankful for it

Kayaking splashing

Taking in the scenary

Hoping for no roll

I am different

So what if I am, so what.

Seeks variety

 

Just incoherent

A perfect fit, yes.

In society

Changing my routine 

brings joy and uncertainty 

conflicting feelings 

Change can be chaos

but often interesting,

Oh !  Ambivalence.

 

To love the familiar

is never arduous.

Challenge can be fun

Watching sport from oz

Should be in the land of nod

Day off tomorrow

 

Swimming tomorrow

Not enough to lose the pounds

Let's hit the sauna

Up again 'fore dawn

why does sleep elude me so

coax it I cannot

My sleep is a dream

So therefore I dream to sleep

I'm glad you are getting relief from the cold. I'm in the other hemisphere so we will have winter soon. :-(

 

the sleepy haikus

for all my wide awake friends

gently rock cradle

 

breathing slow, slowly

deep and slowly,  deeply slow, 

hypnotic rhythms  

 

wedge your palm of thumb 

into your solar plexus,

silent lullaby

 

nice warm bubble bath

can give you rest without sleep,

chamomile tea, please.

 

Friendships have been made

Over there and now here too

Boobies are feeling the cold

Sick of all things sad

Better days please arrive here soon

What to say or do.

Brioche bread weekend

No knead eggs and butter treat

Cold fermentation

Bread sounds delightful

savory comforting warm
