  1. the guys channel is Dutchsinse. I wouldn't say he predicted anything. more like he forecasted the probability of an earthquake somewhere between D.C. and the new york border with canada. He shows the entire method he uses to forecast quakes in his videos and he probably is better at quakes than the meteorologists are at the weather. The last earthquake I remember was the 5.8 in Mineral, VA in 2011. That one caused some damage to the washington monument if recall correctly.
  2. oh wow...i saw a guy on youtube a couple days ago saying he was expecting an east coast quake of about mag. 5 within the next week or so. glad you are all ok QT.

  11. yep. I had smoking dreams quite often. I think it's a fairly common reaction to quitting. I decided to attribute it to my brain rewiring itself to being a nonsmoker

  13. Welcome aboard @JustQuit83congrats on deciding to quit smoking. it is so worth the effort. keep us updated on your progress and get yourself a ticker. It was a great motivational tool for me.
  14. @QuittingGirlnothing really unusual about getting a strong urge. I had been quit nearly a year and a half and I got a few strong urges that seemed to last. I was even having a lot of smoking dreams and when I woke up my mouth almost tasted like I had smoked. It takes a lot of time to work through all of your triggers so just keep riding it out. Remember, we are all recovering addicts and we always will be so expect that there will be times that this happens. The good news is that you're not broken and not smoking. Congrats on keeping the quit
  15. @ammjgreat news. keep that momentum going. you're doing fantastic. stay focused on Jesus. He's here to help you.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
