Thoughts Of A Winner Part 2

Listen to @Mee nana, she's right and the person she discovered she is is amazing. I encourage you to read her early posts and see just how far she's come. You'll get there too

    Shall We Rhyme?

    Hotter than fire
  3. Watching Beachfront Bargain Hunt and every single house the couple goes into the wife wants to move the couch!
  4. Did you take the chantix as recommended @idontsmoke? I believe it's three month. It worked really good for me and I quit for three weeks on it and thought I could stop taking it. Wrong! I pretty instantly went back to smoking.
  5. What makes you think we don't already think your nuts?
  6. Opened until seven

  9. Watching Spider -Man for the first time ever and it's pretty good. I didn't know that both Spider-Man and Superman worked at Newspapers
  10. Unorthodoxed roping event
  11. Good decision to ditch the vape @idontsmoke. I put your ticker in your signature. You almost had it, you just needed to scroll down lower and you would have seen the signature box. You had put it in your about me. Anyway now ya know
  12. A belated congratulations @G67 on your fourth year smoke free! I hope you did or are planning something special to commemorate I
  13. I agree with Doreen Michelle, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. You did the right thing by posting your SOS. Just do that EVERY time you feel yourself caving because as you can see, it works
  14. Wow nana you REALLY do have a lot on your plate right now! You should be even more proud of yourself for standing your ground on keeping the awesome quit you have going. I do take issue with your Dr asking if you're sure you want to quit right now. Covid is brutal on smokers lungs! And as far as your sons fiance sleeping all day so you have to take care of the kids, not cool! Time for you and your hubby to band together and make some ground rules if they want to stay. Could this be why they were kicked out of her mom's place? Can't say enough about quit buddies. They are the best! I had several and one of the coolest things about having one or several is that you don't want to let them down by failing. So even on my worst days, I had a bunch, I knew I could reply on my quit buddies and the rest of the board I belonged to at that time to help me through. You're doing great, you're all doing great so keep putting one foot in front of the other
  15. I started a similar thread Jo if you want to check it out https://www.quittrain.com/topic/13929-positives-from-the-pandemic/
  16. Welcome idontsmoke and congratulations on posting an SOS and getting past that craving Gum, mints, candy are all great ideas to keep your mouth busy. I was hooked on soft peppermint puffs for my entire first year of quitting lol. Throw the vape away too. You won't be needing that anymore! We're glad to have you join our merry train of quitters. You'll find members from all over the world and in all stages of quitting.
  17. Arriving real soon
  18. Hit me with your best shot
  19. Welcome aboard @max1888, I'm thinking you meant thirty and not thirteen? Congrats on three weeks quit already, that's great Yes, it really is worth it to quit smoking. You just have to give your body time to mend before you can see the awesome benefits. Surely you must have noticed though that your sense of smell and taste has come back already? We need to remember that we caused years of harm to our bodies by smoking and it can take a good while to right all the wrongs. So hang in there, I promise it will be worth it. When you get a chance why not take a second to introduce yourself to everyone in our Introductions forum. We have a great group here , PS. I'd like to know what reasons beat out health because for me and a lot of others that's usually number one or two
  20. Isn't Nick gigantic

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
