It depends on what your BBQing... you can put coals in a gas BBQ... gas has flames. Don't gas BBQs have flames in Scotland?
-
David Rhys-Jones.... one of the enforcers, held the record for the most tribunal appearances, 42, with 17 as the victim and 25 as the aggressor... he was suspended for 22 games in total... a whole season if added together.... but he was magic to watch on the field and won the Norm Smith in the 87 Premiership win. (Norm Smith is the MVP award for the best player in the Grand Final)

How is a gas BBQ cheating.... all the best BBQs are gas... there is an art to the gas Barbie... why would a gas Barbie be cheating, gas barbies are normal aren't they?

SWITCHEROO .... SWITCHEROO.... whatever code you do its footballers.... (I was going to do Barassi ... the little boy raised by a footy club after his dad was killed in action and bought about the father son rule in the AFL... true legend of the game even if he isn't my B) Jonathon "Brownie" Brown - Tripple Premiership player, 2 times all Australian, 3 times club best n fairest, one time Coleman Medalist (prize for kicking the most goals in the season) .... This guy was a machine on the field, fearless to the point of stupidity... and so frickin funny... his career was ended by injuries after that left him with a perminantly damaged voice, no feeling in half his face and his chin... but in a way that's why he makes my list... in an interview post his first injury in which he had 10 facial fractures and also fractures 'a couplafractures around me voicebox" that required 13 hours of surgery to reconstruct he was asked first how long he would be out... "The doc reckons 8 weeks. I don't think it will be sooner I can't eat a steak for six weeks" then he was asked if it was the worst injury of his career.... "Yeah-nah, its the most graphic but in terms of footy its nothin'. I don't run on me face"

BBQs with wheels are 100% acceptable unless they a webber. Some of the best BBQs have wheels.... does it have a hood, thermostate, warming rack and side burner like my cousin's 40th birthday BBQ? (we call it the Taj McBarbie)

^^ Never heard that one before... bloody pissa.... although I do find it a bit disturbing that there is an image of 3 muscle tops for the #2... I know I have issues yeah. When its a really hot christmas I have been known to cry at the songs about snow because well its melting hot and listening to songs about snow is very disturbing. @jillar nope that is not in my favourites list... I have a top ten traditional (carols) and a top ten songs (not carols).. that is on neither.

Congratulations @Jack1664 for being 11 months smoke free. 11 months is such a great quit. Well done on being so far along in your quit. What an amazing life change you have happening and just think in 1 month it will be your big Lido Deck celebration. So make sure you do something to celebrate and reward yourself for all the achievement.

So we have all heard motivational speeches made by sporting coaches, or political figures, or social reformers. We all know snippets of a speeches that at different times in our lives we draw on for inspiration, for solace, four guidance. I don't know about everyone else but since I quit there have been times when the temptation to smoke has been strong and I have had a few quotes that have got me through... this is probably the main one, not in Aussie Rules states of Australia this is a pretty famous speech.. it was made by the coach of Hawthorn during the 1989 AFL Grandfinal and I actually hear this in his voice... so if you listen from the 100sec mark you get the best bits... I just apply the word quit in my head wherever he says game.... but these are the words that at the lowest of the low I hear in my head: "In every (quit) game there is going to be a crossroad, and when you get to that crossroad, you either step up, or step you down. It is entirely all up to you. You make the decision, not me."

If you try to convince me an alfoil container is a BBQ then yep, don't you know BBQs are serious business?? (when my parents built their house what do you think was built first... the letterbox or the BBQ?

Hello me fellow NOPErs... Nothing exciting in the land of Aus or globally but it is the US Armed Forces Day... so to all the armed forces men and women for all our countries, past and present, thanks for your service. So to a life of lungs full of smoke and tar... I say: Topic of the day: Footballers

3 ... don't knock the old school... I prefer humidity to dry heat... dry heat is shocking it even burns to breath the air.

"I just have to remind myself I CAN if I want, I just choose not to. I CHOOSE NOT TO!!!!" Keep making that choice and you will be free before you know it. Keep going girl. So to paraphrase one of the best motivational speeches ever, Alan Jeans 1989 grandfinal address.... "In every *quit* there's going to be a crossroads and when you get to that crossroad you either step up or you step down". .... "Not only you gotta play it moment by moment, contest by contest; Do not accept what is going on" because it is a contest, you are in a battle with the nicodemon.... and don't accpet what is going on... don't accept the message of the craves you don't need to smoke, it wont make it better... just bristle up, grit your teeth and keep on keeping on.
