  2. A school district is fed up with ‘epidemic’ vaping. Now it will randomly test students for nicotine. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2019/06/18/school-district-is-fed-up-with-epidemic-vaping-now-it-will-randomly-test-students-nicotine/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.6769d298c28e Addiction, people get caught up and can't shake it. Like crack or any other drug. Nicotine is the chemical we get addicted to and its hard to break away from. Big Tobacco just wants to deliver the nicotine to the people as they will get hooked, just like a bookie wants to give the gambler his number to place a wager.

  4. Congratulations on nine months TobacoNo!
  5. I like that slogan, ankusk. The confusion is all about what the quitters goal is. quit nicotine in a non tobacco form or quit nicotine totally. When nicotine was in my system i was always on edge for the next fix.
  6. If its used as a step down, OK. But at six months he's getting his nicotine fix and still addicted to it . Electronic Nicotine Delivery Devices (ENDD) I don't look down on people who use this but its a band aide IMO They are advertising this as a way to quit ciggs, sales of juul have been veery good for the co so people are buying into it Educate them on nicotine addiction and they make their own choice

  8. Hi Morgan and im sorry to read about the relapse. I also have blown a long quit and you acted quicker than i did at quitting again avoiding a big mistake i made by waiting over 2 years to try and re quit. I lost direction and had got hit with some bad news and went back to an old habit. Just get your mindset back, search for your old posts and re read your own words. Deep breathes
  9. Congrats @Ferimeth, 2 months is great. Breathe in that fresh air
  10. Just dont say F-IT and have one. I have occasional thoughts but i laugh at them, addict brain we all have. Its not withdrawal its just a thought. Sometimes i wanna call an ex as the sex was so good but she was a crazy B--tch and i dont want the drama
  11. Its very sad but addicts will do anything to get their fix, smoke on a plane in the bathroom use baby diapers i'll give you another. AT my mothers wake it was in between the day and night viewing, i got there early for some alone time and i saw a homeless person in the big ashtray outside taking all the half smoked ciggs. I asked the people working and they said they always do it.
  12. Family visits, bring a baby use the diaper https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Video-Shows-Mom-Smuggling-Drugs-Into-Rikers-Inside-Babys-Diaper-497849721.html

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
