Congrats P having the strength to quit... My husband carried on smoking for another twelve years after being diagnosed..he didn't heed the warnings... He is now on the end stages...which could go on for years... He worked with asbestos too...and has dust on his lungs...a double whammy...

I'm with you sally...im sure after 52 years of smoking...I havnt dodged anything...But for today...im so grateful to still be alive... To able to have quit...and live the rest of my life ,the best possible way I can..smoke free...and a sense of pride...I'm not going to die ..a smoker.. In your face tabacco companies...
