No sports here in the US, either! Just got word from my local county via text msg: all indoor portions of malls will be closed along with all bowling alleys and amusement parks/arcades as of 8 pm on 3/19! A close friend under going chemo for metastatic breast cancer was just informed by her oncologist that she cannot leave her house or visit with "healthy" friends and definitely no dental work to be done!

Covid19 Virus Update from Long Island, NY: You cannot go to any restaurant on LI or in NYC for dining in.....You can only order take-out or delivery (if that is even available). My local Target store had no TP or paper towels available but I was able to get 2 2-liter bottles of caffeine-free Diet Coke and my dog's canned food which was on promotion (buy 3 6-packs and get a $5 gift card. Panda is good to go for at least 2 months now! My sis just texted me that one of her co-workers got sick on Sunday (they worked together on Saturday) and went to doc this morning. Had a flu test (negative) and the Covid19 test (results take 1-5 days)...my sis is not going back to work til her co-worker gets her result! 🤒

In my state in the US (NY), any gatherings/events of 50 people are banned. Movie theaters were closed at 8 pm tonight and will stay closed for several weeks, all schools on LI closed today for at least 2 weeks, lots of cancelled local events (parades, plays, music, etc). The LIRR (train) is still running. TP is hard to find although, if you visit enough stores you can get lucky! The price of gasoline has dropped amazingly fast.... I had a baby shower event scheduled for next Sunday which was cancelled as of yesterday....felt so bad for the mom-to-be but these are trying times and better to be safe than sorry!

My m.o. has been that I shop infrequently for TP and paper towels since I like to buy the large multipacks and then not have to worry about it for 6 months. Plus when you have animals (or kids) you need to have an adequate amount of paper towels for various mishaps around the house! I currently have about 36 rolls of TP and about 30 rolls of paper towels on hand as of right now....went to a local store for some other things yesterday and noticed they were out of TP and paper towels!!!! I refuse to panic....yet! 😬

Finishing up on the basement reno....with the help of my new guy! It is looking awesome! Actually looks like a larger space...the sheetrock is up....walls and ceiling. The entrance way walls are tricky....lots of angles and cutouts and previous stud work done ass-backwards ....so working on that today. Hope to start taping/spackling tomorrow! Now I just have to get rid of all the junk/clutter that used to be in the basement....cuz nothing is going back in there!!!! 😬

Aaah...James Taylor....2nd album I ever purchased! Loved it then and still love it! Seeing James Taylor in concert is truly amazing...now as for the other choices.... Marcia Hines has a beautiful voice and this song suits her....I enjoyed listening and will search out her other stuff! Birdy is also quite good..... Willie Nelson is an acquired taste...I liked his take on this song though! I guess this let's you know who I voted for... 😎
