  1. Nice video and concept to think about. Thanks for posting it.
  2. I’m always blown away by the nice stuff you guys say here. Thanks for your support everyone.
  3. Glad you BP went back to normal. We all have our own timeline. Not everyone’s BP and other things work like the recovery timeline says. Congrats fir for sticking it through. ?
  4. So many previous failed attempts because of convincing myself that “just one” was harmless. Daily NOPE means remembering having one is not harmless and it paves the way to a successful quit. The NOPE Pledge is also honouring the extent of the addiction and the work I have done to free myself. NOPE every morning upon waking is the prescription to treat the addiction.
  5. Quitting smoking is known to cause flatulence. Maybe it wasn’t that smelly. ?
  6. This along with the smell of it and others judge you if you have to leave to smoke and then come back smelling of it. I didn’t realise how on edge I was all the time when I smoked. It’s not talked about much but it does this to us.
  7. This is a fantastic thread. I enjoyed reading through it. I quit because of health reasons. Things would be better than f I’d done it sooner. Although quitting now will likely stave off something like COPD. These terrible diseases are real and some poor people have to live with them.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
