  17. Great stuff! Enjoy and cherish every moment you can cuz those years go by in a flash.
  18. Cost my daughter a lot of $$ a couple of years ago when her cat ate some tinsel or something from the tree then couldn't "process it"
  19. Haha ..... well this one was a surprise I don't think we ever got around to getting the Christmas decorations up until a couple week before Christmas but that was more from being busying with other things or just too lazy. I think is't great to get that Christmas spirit going as soon as you can, particularly with young kids around - Enjoy!
  20. I quit on a Sunday - not planned, just worked out that way. I also took 2 additional days vacation time from work so that covered Monday & Tuesday as well. I remember basically becoming a hermit for those first 3 days and I stayed in and watched TV and a bunch of videos as well. Just lost myself in mindless entertainment for those three days. It seemed to help me through the worst of my initial quit. Can't say if that would work for others but certainly keeping busy/distracted as much as possible is key to getting past the worst of the early withdrawal symptoms

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
