yuck! it's awful to think what I did to myself all those years of smoking. Thanks for sharing, Whispers.

This is explains smokers having more difficulty breathing out than breathing in at times. 

 

My Mum died of lung cancer and I remember watching her chest seem to deflate too quickly when she breathed out. Now I know why.

 

 

I'm not surprised. All those chemicals we sucked into our lungs for years & years! At least we here have stopped the continuing damage. There are thousands; no, millions of others out there who continue to suck that deadly crap into their lungs. Be proud that YOU are not one of them :) 

My user name jas nothing to do with my lungs. Mine probably don;t look that way.
