  1. Well I have every confidence your readjustment will be fine Evelyn. You are doing an amazing job Evelyn, when you think of the hormone issues going on in the background too, hat's off to you. I have a book, The Chimp Paradox, The Mind Management (Dr Steve Peters) that my husband brought home from a work conference. I am going to read this, train my mind to readjust itsel. I have no idea if it's anything you woyld find useful? Have not started to read it myself yet, but just thought I'd share with you, just in case it might help you. Hope you have a great day Evelyn, in whatever you do.
  2. Fabulous Tommy, many congratulations to you...you did it, you got your sticky quit :)
  3. I will Action..thanks, might even have two!!! Lol Tracey...loved the backdated congratulations, you are a star! ;)
  4. I hope your transition off it is a smooth one Evelyn. If it turns out I do need a mood stabilizer (through unknowingly self medicating with cigs) I will be mindful of this. Seems I went 'cold turkey' on that score and I kid you not, it will haunt me forver. So how long do they expect it takes for things to even out for you?...if you don't mind me asking? I'm concidering lying low here for a while and joining a depression forum, as I have LOTS of questions. I think I feel unsettled and will feel better once I chat to folk.
  5. Might be because I was once I vaper? I just used to put it down to that over the months? Thanks for noticing, it did make me feel accepted. Going to celebrate and have a Bailey's on the rocks tonight, my celebration treat night cap ;)
  6. You are doing a great job...well done you xx

  11. Oh yes, the vending machine! Lee sent the dvd back (some one line pay each month thing?) But I will definitely look out for that on sky movies, one I could watch a few times and still crease up. Glad you enjoyed it, it struck me as your humour too ;)
  12. I know right! Hard to start on what made us laugh the most. Babs....literally my belly was hurting, pulled a muscle. So wrong....yet so right ;) Did you get the Wiley fishing reference....lmao Oh and...."she's my cherry pie"...tipped me over the edge, almost wet gusset!

  23. Today's benefit for me.... Husband has just mowed the lawn, the smell....just beautiful.
  24. That's exactly what my doctor said yesterday Jonny, that my brain chemistry hasn't yet caught up. So lovely to have you around about this, it really is. I know what you mean too about being happy and positive about the quit. I could not stress enough to the doctor yesterday that he really must not think that I'm missing smoking, or romancing any ideas of being a smoker again (hell really would freeze over first!) It's not anything to do with not smoking...it's just different and a bit scary at times if I'm being totally honest. I am so very glad that you're brain chemistry got back to normal, I'm determined mine will....but it really does help to read it actually does.
