  5. The Quit Train is swimming in awesomeness...you are all lovely, lovely, fabulous people and it's so strange...I know each and every one of us would take back all the years of smoking if we could.... however.....we can't....so... On the positive side....we were all brought together because of it...from all corners of the globe right to this location...and that is pretty darn cool. B)

  13. Try to relax and not be too anal about things
  14. anyway...I am sorry if I yammered on and on...but I do feel passionately about the subject... The average weight gain when quitting smoking is 10 lbs...because the first 2 weeks or so...people eat...they binge a little..metabolism changes and the body regulates again and most people lose the weight...it's normal...it's acceptable..and it's sometimes necessary. I on the other hand gained about 50 lbs....that's beyond the normal amount. That takes you into serious health risks...so yes...I do think it's important mentioning. I also think such a weight gain is unneccesary and many times..exercising helps with the cravings...it helps the mood...it helps a lot with quitting smoking...and helps a person feel good about themselves. I am far from a fanatic. I exercise 45 min a day and eat heathy. It's not a fad..it's now a way of life for me Many people who quit smoking and gained as much weight as I did...they end up going back to smoking because they are depressed....due to not feeling good about themselves. So now..here they are...50 lbs heavier and once again..smoking. That is why I felt I needed to address it. Carry on..and I will try to stay in my own lane from now on...wherever that is :o
  15. not really....he said I was sick...I was clarifying runfree...bakon and I go at it like this all the time...nothing serious go ahead and as Bakon if he thinks he's a junkie....that will start a 20 page thread..lol
  16. overslept today which NEVER happens...I guess I was tired..lol so....I did my own routine 80 burpees...40 pushups...75 jumping jacks.....30 mountain climbers..oblique twists...leg lifts..and 2 min plank

now that is a shame! you really should never feel fat or ugly...by who's standards do you come up with this conclusion???? as for the rest...aren't we all weird and broken? You should strut your stuff and work it girl and feel sexy without the compliments...but when they do come...enjoy them.. :)

lol..i find that hard to believe :)
  25. no need to take it to the extreme....not what I meant at all. I guess what sue was saying is that you seem to take everything too serious..and I'm not talking about just colonoscopies...you seem to be serious about everything. Being uptight causes cancer too...the same cancer that everyone is having tubes put up the arse to find. I don't think there is anything anyone can say here that will convince a person to get a colonoscopy or not. Let's face it....having anything stuck up your arse isn't pleasant (unless you like that sort of thing...like sarah) so there is no way in hell you will convince me that it is all roses and candy. But....as an informed adult...I make my own decisions. I'm 47 and haven't had one yet....I guess when I'm 50 I will have one. I'm not a fan of doctors...and i'm just now starting to get brave and go. I have an eye doctor appointment next week. Never had an eye exam in my life. There are many reasons why people don't go to doctors...FEAR is a big one. When I was an overweight smoker...I could not bring myself to the doctor and have them tell me bad news or tell me to quit smoking and lose weight..information I already knew. Figured it was a waste of my time. I know that's kind of silly but that's where my head was at. I also figured....when I die..I die.
