  1. Smoking...NOPE! Great quit...Yep! Good job CB.
  2. Take good care of yourself and get well soon Doreen. I know you'll be back in the saddle soon.
  3. Good job MQ. Thanks for keeping the Train on the tracks.
  4. A few personal favorites from Miss Loretta...
  5. Watched an episode of the The Andy Griffith Show Saturday night. "Dooley" has been stuck in my head ever since.
  6. October...time for Spooky Boo.
  7. Congratulation JSG. Welcome to the lido deck.
  8. Keeping a close eye on the weather reports. Hurricane Ian is bad action. Just saw some video showing Fort Myers, Florida getting hammered. Damn shame...Fort Myers is one of the most underrated cities in America. Godspeed to all in the path of this storm.
  9. Top-shelf quit Lust4life. Congratulations.
  10. In his defense, it gets hot and humid down there...also down there.

    Confessions

Oof! In my younger and dumber days, I chugged down a couple of bottles of Boone's Farm one night. Hard lessons were learned than evening.
  12. A retired cop living in Florida...Have you been issued a copy of the dress code yet? Tommy Bahama shirt worn unbuttoned, cargo shorts, and a pair of Crocs. The only accessories you'll need is a gun in your waistband and a beer in one hand. Congratulations. I look forward to forgetting your anniversary again next year.
  13. I saw Presidents of the United States of America in concert twice back in the mid-nineties. I'll defend that band to this day. They were a garage band that inexplicably got a lot of mainstream play, but the nineties were weird and the music was fun.
  14. I gotta stop going to Walgreen's. I recently bought a new nose-hair trimmer there. This morning, I bought some fiber powder that mixes into water at the same location. I kinda feel the aging process creeping up on me, but when I go to Walgreen's it punches me right in the face.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
