    Monotony...

I don't want to forget I smoked.....EVER! I don't even think something that was such a big part of my life for so many years is possible to forget. And another thing that's bugging me is I'm gaining weight. If I'm hardly eating how in the heck am I gaining weight?! I guess I just feel like complaining today! Sorry about that. :(
  15. Seriously Karen? How many times do you want to have to start over, anyway? You don't even know if you'll ever find the strength to quit again! Last time you screwed up you went on and smoked for about 3 more years ! In the heat of the moment you just THOUGHT you didn't give a shit anymore and you lit up a smoke and WHAT THE HELL DID THAT SOLVE???? Nothing, absolutely nothing. You made a promise to dad on his death bed that you'd quit smoking and this has taken you 19 YEARS to make good on it. For Gods sake, you even quit on his birthday! Don't throw it all away, we know it's not worth the price we pay. So GET OVER IT ALREADY. Stay on the quitrain.

    Monotony...

I'm tired of thinking about smoking and not smoking. I don''t want this to be the main focus of my every day existence. I just want to feel or think "normal". Whatever that may be. Does anyone understand what I'm trying to convey here?
  17. oh, i see he's in Nevada so now i think he works in casinos? Smoking is allowed in casinos, at least it was when I was there and at the time I smoked and remember how happy i was to find that out!
  18. that would be a colorful NOPE for me :P
  19. Happy Birthday Jenny! I am wishing for you much happiness on your special day!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
