  3. Boo, I told you a while back I love your posts....and THIS post is another one! It just makes so much damn sense, in all it's simplicity :good3:
  4. Cool replies, I learned something from each of your posts about you guys just from asking a simple question! Doreen so sorry to read of your husbands emphysema. It can get very hard to be the sole caregiver, I hope (depending on his condition) you have extra help if you should need it. I work 40 hours a week with a private client who has liver cancer, while his wife still works full time. I'm a CNA.
  5. Karen replied to BAT's topic in Socializing
Bat thanks for putting that up here, very interesting!
  6. One night a friend and I went and I ended up dancing with some old guy (he was probably 40 to my 21/22 young years). Holy crap though, he spun me & flipped me all over the place. I was having SO MUCH FUN dancing!!! I went to the bar to take a quick break and get a drink of water - didn't want to drink alcohol that night cuz I was having so much fun dancing. My friend was not having quite as much fun - as I walked up she was throwing a glass of water in the bartenders face. Evidently, that's not what she ordered. Lol. So yeah, we (she) got kicked out. I was all mad at her because I was having so much fun and wanted to stay. She didn't seem that drunk to me - so something else must have gone down while I was dancing. Haha.. The good ole days. :) Petra that's one of those funny memories that is not funny at the time, hey?!

  13. Happy Easter and NOPE today for me also! I will be with some family members that smoke and I'm not concerned about it one bit ! It's their problem, not mine.....but I sure do wish EVERYONE who smokes would just get the courage to quit.
  14. I don't believe anyone paid $30.00 a pack, not in this country anyway. But like everyone else I was spending about $210.00 per month on cigs. How sick is that. Paying that kind of money to slowly kill ourselves.
