  12. Then you are young, you feel invincible! You feel bullets will bounce off you! As you get older & wiser, you know bullets will hurt you! Smoking is the same way, so the older & wiser ones like us quit! We know now that smoking gives you a false sense of invincibility or freedom!
  13. Agree with everybody's advise from above too! Take it slow and a little at a time until you feel strong enough! You have the rest of your long and healthy smoke free life to go! You will also make new smoke free friends along the way!
  14. Now that I have quit cigs for awhile, I can smell the difference in smoke from different things! I like the smell of smoke from a campfire, outdoor cooking and diesel exhaust( A little weird I know lol), Incense, and candles! I hate the smell of cigarette smoke on someone or in someones house or car!
  15. If all natural, the Triangle (A Frame) is best and easiest. Build on small hill or side of hill (need slope so water drains out) You can build up the sides with dirt, stones, large logs to help keep wind and rain out and less top to worry about. First couple of support branches on top of A frame to support all the smaller and lighter ferns and grass Top use lots of wide long leaf ferns or lots of tall grass to wick water down to sides faster Need good pitch (like the sides of the letter "A") on top and make top thick, the thicker the more likely water will be caught and roll off to sides. Overhang top over sides if possible! Good Luck to you!
  16. Sorry to hear this about your daughter! You have every right to be scared and upset as a parent! But please take comfort in modern medicine, this is a common procedure, done all the time. And you need to be strong for your daughter, she needs you strong now more then ever! Show her your strength, just like the strength you have shown us and her in your quit! A cigarette don't care and will not help you, but your friends here will!

  20. Yep, This is our kind of fun, climbing trees and boulders like a bunch of kids lol! PS - Because we do not smoke anymore, we spent all our time climbing instead of coughing, taking rest breaks, and gasping for air!
  21. Real name: Robert Picture: 3 weeks ago in Virginia Beach! Avatar Name: Hal, (The name of a horse that Tracey owned and loved because she had saved him from the glue factory!) Occupation: Egg Thief (One time only!)

  23. What worked for me is believing in myself that i am not a smoker anymore! My former life i was a smoker, in a dream I was a smoke, and now in the real world, I DO NOT SMOKE!!!!!
