  2. Damn it...every time a new lady turns up Pimp is in there like Flynn. Devastating handsome sexy beast strikes again. Then before you know it, the girl is an egg, proclaiming undying love for breakfast meat. This is the worst dating site ever. I want my money back! To all newbies, not so newbies: I quit. I got it. I am not going to smoke again. I'm here because people hung around to help me. I'm here because there are folk here that I really care about. Hell, I'm here because I care about the Quittrain. Quitting has probably saved my life. If you think I can help you save your own life, then claim me as Quit Buddy, Mentor, fat friend in kilt. Just drop me a PM saying Hi.
  3. Crazy upside down people...tuna for breakfast! Just bought a Nutribullet. Ostensibly for La Bandita for Christmas. By January 15 she will have tired of it and I will opening a healthy smoothie / shake / super nutrition drink thread!
  4. Sums up how I generally feel after talking to any utility company, bank or other large company...

  6. Quitting is scary. The scary bit is BEFORE the quit. Fearing failure, or worse fearing success...the fear of NEVER having another cigarette. SCARY! So when I quit, I always focused on being Happy. I had done it. I quit. That's good news! Then sipping water. Keeping busy.

Hey Rowly Dec 28 post is where you might find some motivation. Stick with it buddy. The odd test comes along in the early days - you just push on through it. There is no just one Rowly.

  18. Good stuff Sergeant. A little emotional shake up is pretty common as the brain/body chemistry reverts to normal. It passes.
