It's really weird but I have had a few cravings at my friends I wonder how much is nostalgia or what's in second hand smoke? But all is good my friends mum . Died two weeks ago so feet firmly on the ground xx

My mum smokes roll ups I have been staying with her since I landed to sort out lots of things for her, mostly I have been cleaning! She only warms one room up and that's where she sits puffing away morning, noon and night She is disabled so cannot do any cleaning etc so you can just imagine what I am faced with here She does not open any Windows or doors to let in fresh air as she wants to keep the heat in I am in a hell vortex! Lovely to see her and be able to help but cannot wait to go to my friends house today for 4 days and be able to breathe The smell is unbearable and I have been washing like a demon, I do not lecture her but it's so hard I sleep in the same bed and can hear her chest rattling in the night, it's heart breaking but only strengthens my will that I will not end up like that! I put this here as she stalks me lol and I don't want to upset her I feel dirty and unhealthy but determined Anyone romancing come and stay here for a week! Other than that everything is tickety boo :)

Welcome to the train Rosie congratulations on your quit, it can take a while to readjust as you have to learn to do everything without a smoke, but it does get better even if you have to white knuckle it remember you quit you did not give up ANYTHING it was not your friend it was your enemy but the addiction tricks you to thinking it was a friend Please read the quit smoking discussions and watch the videos, education and support with help you to an easier road x
