  15. congratulations Aine 3 months is awesome I am very happy for you and comrade :)
  16. I think due to my age I am became a little Life Lazy I got caught up in a lot of the adult responsibilities that happen as you get older but when I quit it gave me a new lease of myself again! My confidence came fully back and my attitude that anything is possible with a little effort quit smoking didn`t change me - but it sure did find ME again - if that makes sense It was a fresh start to re - evaluate my life and where I wanted be and how i wanted to live so far I have changed my relationship and where I live - sure this was bumpy but like the quit with effort and hanging in there - the destination is a happy one! I owe my quit to more than just health and saving money - I really do owe it to my FREEDOM next step once I am really settled in the the old me is a career change :) - something I could not do as a smoker - working in conservation, either here or abroad I have not decided that one yet my advise to anyone is to go with the flow and see where the road takes you - if something does not feel right anymore - then it probably isn`t
  17. good to see you Paula congratulations on your 10 months quit :) One thing I have noticed about the ban over here - is now all the smokers stand outside the doors to anywhere - so on entering a building especially shopping centres and pubs you have to walk through 5-10 people smoking I have to hold my breath, head down and enter or you get a right lung full - it`s crazy! complete smokefree zones sounds a great way to go - I am sure the UK will be watching Australia to see how it goes!
  18. better than olive lol
  19. spinach seruously I cannot get enough of the stuff I eat it instead of lettuce in salads I eat it for breakfast - cooked with eggs I think I am popeye ;)
  20. thanks wylie I need a kick now and then I will get right on it :)
  21. Marti why do I get such a kick out of your vents - im so bad  sorry you and jengles would make a good frozen duet lol
  22. i am cutting out bread and pasta and am seeing quick results - its hard at first as bread is a staple trap that I fell into but once I got used to it after a few days its all good I eat small amounts of rice but do eat potatoes - sweet potatoes are good_ I do not want to be a bean pole otherwise I would look like a 10 year old boy! lol I have cut out cakes and biscuits too will have to try the sex part now ;)
  23. it is a reminder of the damage we were doing but how much better we feel now :) for me it was more annoyance - disruptive sleep patterns and mild depression it all finds its level in the end physical or mental - would I do it all again - HELL YES but I DONT EVER WANT TO!
