  2. Congratulations @intoxicated yoda on 5 years smoke free!!🎉 You should be very proud of yourself! Treat yourself today and enjoy your success!!
  3. Five years ago I asked myself, in five years do you want to be glad you quit or wishing you would have quit? I also asked myself if I'm successful would I look back and think, Gee, I sure wish I would have kept smoking. Today I get the answer to those burning questions. A deep heartfelt thank you goes out to all you good folks on the train that helped me get here. The encouragement from everyone, past and present, helped to keep me on track and for that I am grateful. PALTA

  8. I'd been dating a nurse for a few days, and things finally heated up enough for us to take it to the bedroom. As I stripped down, feeling a bit bold, l asked her, "So, working at the hospital, you must see plenty of packages. How does mine stack up?" She looked it over and smiled. "Honestly, it's slightly bigger than most of the ones I deal with." Puffed up with pride, I beamed, "Aw, thanks babe! What department do you work in again?" She replied, "I'm a midwife."
  9. A car full of Irish nuns is sitting at a traffic light in downtown Dublin, when a bunch of rowdy drunks pull up alongside of them. "Hey, show us yer teets, ya bloody penguins!" shouts one of the drunks. Quite shocked, Mother Superior turns to Sister Mary Immaculata and says, "I don't think they know who we are; show them your cross." Sister Mary Immaculata rolls down her window and shouts, "Piss off, ya fookin' little wankers, before I come over there and rip yer balls off!" Sister Mary Immaculata then rolls up her window, looks back at Mother Superior, quite innocently, and asks, "Did that sound cross enough!

  19. Thank you my dear! I doubt very much it's my diet or lifestyle but my mind set is definately in the right place and I agree, that's critical. That and the early detection for sure are absolutely necessary to maximize chances for a positive outcome👍 Had my 4th session today and so far ... no negative reactions. Next up session #5 Monday!
  20. Gday Vegan halloumi is great stuff. Same squeaky ness, browns when grilled just the same. For the vegan…. Warm margarine, maple syrup and thyme. Smallest squeeze of lemon As apposed to butter, honey and thyme with the small squeeze of lemon. Talking all things halloumi ….. Grilled halloumi, topped with chopped watermelon and yoghurt. Once you get a taste for it a platter disappears fast at a backyard grill
  21. Had my 5th radiation treatment Monday about mid-afternoon. Experienced another sudden spell of extreme exhaustion Monday evening around 7:30 or 8:00 PM. It seemed worse than the first one and lasted longer. Was still very lethargic all day Tuesday so basically did nothing other than I had to cut the back lawn yesterday afternoon. That normally takes me about a 1/2 hour but took almost an hour yesterday cuz I had to stop and rest a couple of times before I could finish it. Taking it easy today as well as I have my 6th & 2nd last radiation treatment tomorrow. I have an appointment to speak with the oncology doctor tomorrow right after my rad. session. Not sure what the discussion will be about but hoping for some kind of indication about how the treatments are going. I'm pretty sure they can see something about what's going on when they do the treatments? We'll see tomorrow. Hope I don't get whacked again later tomorrow with another spell of exhaustion but even if I do, at least that'll be the sencond last treatmenrt so I'm getting to the end of this process 🙂
