  2. *wipes brow* indeed, good news my friend. x The rest will do what it does and hopefully go towards them fixing you, so a good end game but some rubbish to get done and dusted first. Sorry for the bad, pleased it might be fixable at the end. x

  4. Any questions about sleep apnea and sleep studies, I'm your girl! (Well, I've only been to two sleep studies and been on the machine for just over a month, but I can try to help!) So happy to hear your lungs are all clear. :)

  7. Ya, they want me to go for a sleep study too to see if I have sleep apnea. I am not looking forward to a sleep study at all. Sleeping in a strange room, in a strange bed with a bunch of strangers watching me?? I'm looking forward to my carpel tunnel surgery and vasectomy more than that.

  9. I'm so glad that your lungs got a clean bill of health! It would be wonderful if they could fix the sleep apnea; I bet that makes you feel tired and you don't even realize it.

  10. marching on to day 6. I am sure glad I never have to do day 5 again. I musta thought screw this, i dont want to be a non smoker 10 times today. but then I would think that's a lie. I want to be a non smoker more than anything else. and I thought that 11 times. still craving but not trying to focus on it to much. I know i can still do this

  11. What beautiful Lungs you have ! man, our bodies are so amazing to recover from damage. Sleep apnea gets fixed ? and you get to actually SLEEP ? how novel ! Good luck with all the rest of the poking and prodding. Make sure Witch Doctors stay clear of your Funny Bone, it don't need no fixing. Love, S

  14. Great to read this, Marti. You sound so frikkin' HAPPY!! It's just grand to hear. And the tar and nicotine and chemicals from 6000 cigarettes are NOT in your lungs. Hooray! Have you gotten new bathing suits and stocked up on sunscreen yet? Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! Such fun!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
