  9. You can definitely do this @Bijay Pudasaini Take it one day at a time, one hour at a time, if you have to, but you can do it!!! What helped me in the very beginning of my quit was using cinnamon sticks. I pretended that they were cigarettes and would suck the air in and pretend I was blowing it out like a cigarette. It tasted so much better than cigarettes and it really helped me. If you don't like cinnamon, you can use cut up straws. Another tip is to come on this site every day, if you can, and do the daily NOPE pledge. Stay close to this board as that is what really helped me through it. Quitting is not easy as we all know, but it's definitely doable as you can see. YOU CAN DO THIS!! We are here to support you, every step of the way!!

  14. Thanks for the update, @Bijay Pudasaini. I’m glad to hear that you still are committed to quitting! Don’t dwell on the disappointment, just resume your quit asap. Because the longer you wait, the harder it will be. What can you learn from this stumble that can help you protect your precious quit the next time? Shake it off and keep going!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
