  11. Two months in and still NOPE!
  12. It's been a busy week and I haven't been online much. I have, however, kept to my commitment of not smoking and I've surprised myself at how little time I've spent thinking about it while I've been busy. I know I'm only two months in, so I'm not going to let myself get too complacent, but I had a pretty big accomplishment last week - I went to a bar and played at an open mic night. I wasn't sure how well I'd handle getting on stage without a cigarette to prepare my nerves and one to calm myself down afterward, but when the time came, I wasn't even thinking about that. Even with nerves and a healthy amount of beer in my belly, I still didn't smoke.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
