  3. Congratulations @SD2026 Glad you are doing so well. Keep up the great work
  4. Great Job @SD2026! 1/4 year smoke free it teriffic. Why not celebrate by taking a well deserved rest from the counting game Onward to securing that quit even more. The key is putting as much time between your brain as a non-smoker and your brain as a smoker. One day at a time adds up to months and eventually years!

  18. Oh yes for sure! I think it's more at times I have a desire to smoke rather than actual cravings and that's more my social surroundings. I can't/don't want to change my social habits (I know it's advised to but...) I've made it 3 months so far without having a mental breakdown so that's something! I've so much more energy and I totally feel the health benefits it's crazy really. I've no smoker's cough and when I do cough (normal) it sounds so weak and pathetic lol I'm so grateful to having finally quit and stuck it out this far, I genuinely (and those who know me) didn't think I'd last this long. Great to have that confidence in me huh I believe I've stuck it out mostly thanks to this site and the support on here and all the factual info/videos that makes me feel ALL the emotions but eye opening. So thank you all so much!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
