June 23, 201511 yr Nancy isn't the only one having her house taken apart and put back together at the moment - even though I am away in Madrid, work started on my bathroom today. Tasha sent me the pictures so far, and I just wanted to share with you all. Who knows what it will look like when I get home tomorrow! Before - Today -

June 23, 201511 yr Ive not long had my bathroom done and the toilet stuck in the middle of nothing strikes a cord here too :wacko2: so worth all the upheaval I waited 11 years to get mine done, looking forward to seeing the after pics xx

June 24, 201511 yr I can tell you from experience, do ALL renovations/remodeling you can before the baby comes. You will be very busy and when you're not, you'll want to be very VERY quiet.
June 24, 201511 yr AHH, yes. The excitement and frustration of a remodel project! Just went through that myself this past March/April. I cant wait to see after pics!!

The mustard coloured part will be black, and the feet will be silver. I guess you can't paint a lot of tubs, but this one seems OK - looks like it was all white before the previous owner got their mits on it and decided that they liked the colour of mustard :blink:

Black white and silver sounds very striking! Is that the colour scheme? That would be so cool cause there's loads of like bathroom plaques in shabby chic everywhere that would go great with that colour scheme.

It is going to be black, white, a little silver and a colour... Probably like a mint green, or duck egg blue kind of thing... Haven't decided!!

July 5, 201511 yr Author All the plumbing and plastering has been done, and we have just been waiting for the plaster to dry. This is what it looked like on Friday, although I've done a bit of painting since, but nothing exciting (just white). Tiling being done Monday/Tuesday, rads and shower put in on Wednesday, Floor Thursday, and bath on Friday (hopefully!). I will probably try to finish the painting and have everything done next weekend...!
