Until I´m better

Featured Replies

Thanks to all of you guys who have been checking on me. That you think about me means the world to me.

As you know I´m living now the sequels of a very traumatic experience. Some of you know the details and some don´t.

As one of you recommended I´m seeing a therapist. She told me not to be so hard on myself and focusing on feeling better before focusing on quitting. For some of you that might sound like an excuse but it makes sense for me.

I´m bery proud of all of you.

Love,

-Nat

I think that is an excellent suggestion.  Of course we want you to quit smoking but I think adding that pressure right would only increase what is clearly an emergent time for you.  Please come here anyway as we are your friends too.  Praying for you Nat.  I am so sorry for what you've endured.  xx

Hi Nat... I am new here... I'll try my best to make you giggle... I do have have some pixie dust somewhere :girl_witch: ... don't go too far sweetie

Natalie, you don't have to quit smoking for us to offer friendship and support...we are here for you...please do not go away...

I am so sorry that you went through such a trauma and I am glad that you sought help because that is what is going to help you the most. They are right you need to focus on your mental healing and not stress yourself out any further.

In the meantime I know that it has been said other places on the board before, but I will say it in here, you don't have to be quit to hang around here and post. :) We are a family here and you joined that family back in August. We are all here for you in friendship no matter what so please don't disappear on us. :)

Nat I new I kept a little pixie dust somewhere... I am blowing some pixie dust and extra special thoughts just for you... believe in yourself!

I say she is a headshrinking quack if smoking is ok. Hope you feel better but smoking isn't going to help. Please don't follow her "ok" for less stress as a reason to stay smoking. You can quit without stress by telling yourself it's also helping you heal and grow stronger. Or wallow in an ashtray till you realize they are not connected.

If you want to smoke....then you don't want to quit. Can't be any simpler.

Hope you get well

((((Natalie))))
