October 20, 20196 yr My Holiday count down ... Any tips ,ideas,...to make this a fun filled break.. And make sure Nicky and I have a brilliant time together ... And meet our Train Traveller Jo .....
October 20, 20196 yr Oh Wow lucky you off to OZ, hubby and I went in 2014 for 5 weeks and had a fantastic time. I really recommend the Great Barrier Reef if you are up in Cairns. The Blue mountains are fabulous, the little penguins on Phillip Island, Wilson’s Prom and Sydney. We also hired a car and drove all the way down the great ocean road, stopping off at various places and saw the 12 Apostles. Byron Bay is amazing too. We went to so many places can’t remember them all. You will have a fab time.
October 20, 20196 yr Oh Blue mountains in NSW are beautiful. Canberra....the war memorial and museum is worth a visit...Questicon in Canberra is brilliant...my dad always visits...it's like a hands on science museum....if you are driving down to Melbourne from Canberra then you have to stop at the Etemoga Pub....and at the Dog on the Tuckerbox....and at Glenrowen where Ned Kelly had his last stand. We can so do Phillip island to see the 'Little' Penguins....back in the olden days when I was a kid they were called Fairy Penguins but we can't call them that any more because it's homophobic...but if you haven't done it is very worth it...great Ocean road is a must see I could take you to where the first shots of WW1 were fired (the battery at Queenscliff) and then get a ferry across the bay to Sorrento for the best snot blocks in Melbourne. How long you in Melbourne? There's Trentham falls, the organ pipes, Hanging Rock, Otway fly, it's the wrong time of year for whale watching at Warnambool. Philip island us pretty cool...you can even cop a look at the Nobbies Edited October 20, 20196 yr by notsmokinjo

October 20, 20196 yr I've never been to Australia, but I did read an article about scientists finding "peanut worms" off the coast down there. Seems like something you might like...

Seems like something you might like... A "peanut" worm huh.... Scientists with a sense of humour..what a hoot! Scientist 1:"let's call this a penis worm, as the shape so.." Scientist 2 interupts: "No no! We can't do that!" Scientist 1: "Why not!" Scientist 2: "We don't want to be a laughing-stock like uranus has been" Scientist 1: "You're right let's call it the "peanut" worm
October 20, 20196 yr I am wrong though, there already is some worm called a penis worm.. but I vote for name change... this peanut worm is a better fit for the name *no pun intended*
