Are they still cousins?

She said "I do."  So I'm officially a married man now.

 

For all of the worrying and fretting over the details and things we had no control over, the ceremony went off without a hitch.

 

We were able to have the wedding outside.  It was a perfect day in the Tennessee River Gorge, partly cloudy skies and temps in the mid-70s.

 

Of course the real star of the show was Sugar Britches.  She could not have looked any more beautiful.

 

Not to brag, but I cleaned up pretty well for the big day as well.  Fancy suit, polished shoes, and sporting the most expensive haircut of my life.  I did as much as I could with what I have.

 

There was a moment during the reception when I felt more gratitude than I have ever felt in my life.  With the love of my life on my arm and surrounded by my family and friends it hit me that I am a very lucky man.  Married to a beautiful woman who is everything a man could want in a wife and I have a group of people in my life who mean more to me than they will ever know...You really can't ask for more than that in this life.

 

So yeah...it was a good day.

Okay, you have me crying happy tears.  Sugar Britches is one lucky lady.  I know you will have a wonderful life together.  

So glad your day was so special (70 in Tennessee is pretty nice).  

I hope you will share pictures of your beautiful bride and you all spiffed up.

We may not have been there in person but we were in our hearts.  

You, dear man, have been an integral part in changing my life and you have made it seem as if we have been friends forever.  You deserve nothing more than happiness.

I'll try to post some photos.  The photographer gave us a link to where digital versions of every photo she took are available.  I've looked at them and can expand them to fullscreen, but have not had any success doing anything else with them.

We got lucky on that one.  No rain.  Unseasonably cool weather.  There was a slight breeze and the humidity was low.  That's like catching lightning in a bottle this time of year.

Thank you kindly.  I never imagined that I could consider people who I have never met in person friends.  However, I hopped on the Train and met a bunch of really cool people...
