Thats another battle won ,Rob...facing down these triggers make your quit that much stronger If you havent done it already, make sure everyone you hang out with knows you quit smoking...those who never smoked will be proud of you, and those that are smokers will be in envy of you....its a win win situation... well done!

I'm glad to see Ava is now as up to speed as possible (with Netflix)... I feel the show REALLY takes off in season 5! Sunday's episode went about as I thought it would... What's your thoughts on how the tv show is going to handle Alexandria? My spoiler has references to the book....it may or may not relate to the show ;)

Wow... A 3week celebration already!!...and it seems like you just joined yesterday. ;) Seriously..... Congrats! 3 weeks is great. There is still a lot of time left on this coaster ride, but we all know the biggest ups and downs are in the beginning... Now you just have to hold on and enjoy the ride...pretty soon it will just smooth out and any thoughts of smoking will be nothing more than a blur! Eye on the prize!

We have all been there and try to offer any bits of advice that will make your quit a success. You already seem to have a great attitude. As mentioned by others...education is key to conquering this! Stay active on the board and use any and all the resources available to you and this will have a great ending. :) Welcome aboard, and...Keep your eye on the prize!...

Both parents smoked..each one smoked 1-1/2 to 2 packs a day each... My father quit when I was a teenager... My Mom quit when she died at age 49 from lung cancer....My Dad died when he was 59.. Non-smoking related (as far as we know...blood clot after minor knee surgery ,arthroscopic )...

Way to go Evelyn! Good to see you moving forward ! As you are aware, there could still be bumpy spots in your journey ... However... I think you have your mind wrapped around this quit and will remain strong through them. You are a good example of how this addiction can be beat by combining determination and the assets that this board has to offer! CONGRATS!!!
