  4. Love this post! Mine are: Ice cold water, as much as possible Support and learning from others on both support boards Working out (assisted with the rage!) Reminding myself I don't HAVE to do anything. I choose.. Taking it in baby steps... minute by minute at times until I felt confident in saying NOPE for the full day And knitting.... or as I like to call it "Yarn knots on sticks"... (I am not good at knitting)
  5. I’m in Canada and was paying just under 14 a pack and now they announced an increase today. A carton here is definitely over 100!
  6. Thanks everyone! Hopefully they go soon. At least the cravings are getting better!
  7. Hi Everyone, I am just over 3 weeks quit and am still experiencing headaches. They had gone away for most of last week and now they are back. I am curious if others had headaches last this long? I suppose they may not be related to my quit but I don't tend to get headaches often so I assume this is the cause. Also curious if others experienced water retention? I seem to blow up a few pounds and when I work out it completely goes away but then it's back the next day. I am drinking lots of water each day and keeping very active but if anyone has advice on this too I'd be very grateful! Thanks all!
  8. Congratulations!! 4 months is huge! Thanks for all of your support!
  9. Thank you! I started getting anxious and searching for another board and when I recognized some of the names here I was so relieved!
  10. Hi everyone, I am so glad I found this! I was a member of qsmb and was relieved to see familiar names here since the site went down. Quit with Champix on feb 4th. Still struggling but it’s getting a lot better each day!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
